چکیده
In recent years, there has been a surge in interest developing novel materials for sustainable building construction made from renewable resources. The use of natural fibers concrete reinforcement, as opposed to agricultural waste, significant environmental benefits terms reducing the repercussions continuous dumping and landfilling massive amounts waste overburdened landfill sites. Banana peel fiber (BPF) orange (OPF) are common agro-wastes with long history an additive or cement substitute. However, their efficiency performance reinforcement must be assessed. characteristics, fresh hardened state structural BPF OPF composite manufacturing reviewed this study based on findings. For quality reinforcing, it was discovered that have good surface areas low specific gravity. OPF, other hand, pozzolanic binding properties up 97.3 %. This allows them act binders supplement high strength yielding concrete. Furthermore, enhanced workability, consistency, compressive tensile strengths, setting times by 21.1 %, 48.64 46 % 52.5 47.37 respectively, whereas raised density 5.34 indicated both had lot potential producing high-quality reinforce composites against flexural deflection, heat transmission, modulus elasticity resulted increase cracking, creep, shrinkage. inclusion banana peels found significantly improve qualities concrete; thus, they can employed supplementary Finally, identifies new approaches achieving much-anticipated biodegradability sustainability fiber-reinforced usage variety reinforcing applications.

Strength and Toughness of Reinforced Concrete with Coated Steel Fibers
The effect of zinc phosphate (ZP) and zinc calcium phosphate (ZCP) coatings on the reinforcing mechanisms of smooth steel fiber in cementitious matrix have been studied. The results of pull out tests illustrated that by coating smooth steel fiber the pull-out load may be increased up to 100%. The effect of zinc phosphate coating on interface bonding was more than zinc-calcium phosphate coating....

Musa sapientum which is commonly called banana is an herbaceous plant of family Musaceae, a popular fruit consumed worldwide. It is originated from topical region of Southern Asia. The plant is cultivated for its fruits and to a lesser extent for production of fibres. Considering the nutritional activities, it is one of the leading food crops with high source of minerals, vitamins, flavonoids, ...
متن کاملStrain and Damage Sensing Property of Self-compacting Concrete Reinforced with Carbon Fibers
Present paper investigated the strain and damage sensing property on concrete cubes embedded with carbon fibers. Concrete cubes of dimension 150 mm have been casted with different concentration of carbon fibers to study the strain and damage sensing property under cyclic loading that can be further used for health monitoring as non-destructive testing (NDT) approach. All the specimens were test...
متن کاملMixed Mode Fracture in Reinforced Concrete with Low Volume Fraction of Steel Fibers
An investigation into the mixed mode fracture of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC)beams with one percent volume fraction of steel fiber is presented. A series of notched beams withdifferent notch depths and locations are tested under three-point bending. The test results for apparentfracture toughness, crack trajectories, and fracture energy are presented. The crack paths for SFRCand plain...
متن کاملBanana Peel Physiological Post-Harvest Disorders: A Review
Bananas are cultivated in more than 120 countries and on the five continents in tropical and subtropical areas [7]. Bananas production is the fourth most significant of the world in terms of tonnage, after rice, wheat and maize. In 2013, world production was estimated at more than 106 million tons, of which 2 million produced in Caribbean [8]. However, only a small part is produced for commerci...
